Portrait Cut Diamond Necklace
Do you have a favorite shape? How about a favorite oval? If you are like me, you have a preference about everything. If I were to describe the perfect oval it would look just like this one: slightly elongated, gentle and soft— feminine. If you were to ask me how I would facet a diamond in this perfect shape I would say, “Let’s be subtle. Let’s cut some beautiful, perfectly precise small, sparkly facets just along the edges. Let’s be sure the facets sparkle enough to mesmerize but not to blind. I want to relax and watch it sparkle, not be made dizzy by it.”
